Elementary students will continue in an asynchronous (recorded) format.  The grading and attendance policies will continue as stated in the Student Handbook.

BACKPACKS

Middle School and High School students will ONLY BE ALLOWED to bring mesh or clear backpacks.  The school is ordering clear backpacks for students  who wish to check them out for use during the school year.  Elementary students will be allowed to bring a backpack on campus.  Mesh or clear backpacks are encouraged, but not required.

ALERTS

Please make sure that you are connected to our Danbury ISD email alert system.  If you are not getting the alerts, we do not have your correct email address or a correct phone number for you.  Danbury ISD will be sending out COVID suspected/confirmed cases each afternoon.  If there is a confirmed case and your child is a “close contact,” you will be notified before the end of the day and your child will need to self-quarantine for 14 days.  (See Protocol on the DISD website under “COVID-19 Return of the Panthers.”)

We thank our parents for your understanding and patience as we maneuver through uncharted times.  Please know that every decision we have made has been based on the safety and health of your students and their teachers.
