Danbury ISD COVID-19 Response

Danbury ISD is moving to remote instruction for all students through May 4, 2020.  A majority of districts in Brazoria County and the greater Houston area are following a similar cancellation based on a recommendation from county health officials.
It is important to note that in-person instruction will not be offered, but the District’s staff members are working hard on a plan for remote instruction for students. We will share information about the Distance Learning Plan very soon but every student's parent/guardian should get a call/email/update from a staff member to discuss the next few weeks. Watch for a Family Resources page also designed to familiarize parents and students with platforms that will assist students as needed and continue to partner with teachers to support distance learning. Teachers will start sharing opportunities for students to practice and reinforce academic content and skills using familiar tools currently used in their classrooms.
We encourage everyone to review additional resources, important links, and additional websites from this page.
