The Danbury Mighty Panther Band, lead by Charles Fricker, has had a historic year for marching band. They started the year by winning first place at the Edna Pre UIL 3A Marching band competition. This qualified them to move on to the Regional UIL competition in Ganado where they won straight 1's sweepstakes for 3A division. They will now compete in Area in Beeville, Tx where they are competing to qualify for the State marching band competition.
Danbury ISD and the Danbury community wishes the Danbury Mighty Panther Band the best of luck in Area competition and we are very proud of you all.
