REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

 

Age Requirements

State law requires school attendance between the ages of 6 and 18. A child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 to enter kindergarten. To enter first grade, a child must be 6 years of age on or before September 1.

 

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION

  1. State Certified Birth Certificate
  2. Immunization Record -all dates must be complete with month/day/year
  3. Child's Social Security Card
  4. Picture ID of the parent/guardian enrolling child
  5. Proof of Residency (utility bill) with a physical address (The person registering needs to be on the bill or have the same address on their DL.)
  6. Completed registration / enrollment
