REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Age Requirements
State law requires school attendance between the ages of 6 and 18. A child must be 5 years of age on or before September 1 to enter kindergarten. To enter first grade, a child must be 6 years of age on or before September 1.
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION
- State Certified Birth Certificate
- Immunization Record -all dates must be complete with month/day/year
- Child's Social Security Card
- Picture ID of the parent/guardian enrolling child
- Proof of Residency (utility bill) with a physical address (The person registering needs to be on the bill and have the same address on their DL, or the person registering must have the same address on their DL as the address on the bill.)
- Completed registration / enrollment
